Emanuel

While I've recently re-located to Makarios, I still have a heart for the people of Quisqueya and my Dominican family at Emanuel House.  

By sponsoring a child at Emanuel House, you help provide for their physical needs (clean drinking water, a vitamin and 2 meals a day), educational needs (staff pay and some school supplies), and spiritual needs (Bible class, devotions, and a Christian staff).

Pray for God's will in regards to these current Emanuel House needs:

• a 1st and 2nd grade teacher for the 2015-2016.
• construction of the 4 classrooms.
• strengthened leadership and business savvy.
• spiritual growth among the staff, students and families.
• protection against spiritual warfare.
• spiritual strength for Mirqueya, the founder of Emanuel House.

WANT TO HELP EH IN A LONG-TERM WAY?

• Emanuel House needs a small group of teachers to help with professional development at least two times a year… who would be willing to communicate ahead of time to find out their needs, provide an interactive workshop for teachers focusing usually in the areas of Pre-K-3rd grade math, reading, writing, science and social studies skills.
• Emanuel House moms need encouragement, parenting help, and truth from the Word.  Mirqueya is looking for a group of women to serve over several days to a week by building relationships, providing counseling sessions, and by leading Bible studies.
